About the Role:

Responsible for maintenance support for information in multiple databases relating to Linking, Store, DPL, and SKU tables.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Responsible for linking requested client items to exact or comparable items using the RDL (RetailData Linking) database programs.
  • Formatting client list information for importing into the RDL (RetailData Linking) database.
  • Maintaining competitor library information for the RDL database, including competitor site scrape requests.
  • Reviewing competitor websites for attributes needed for RDL database.
  • Supporting Data Integrity tasks as needed.
    • Formats and imports private label UPC/description/size data into the Dynamic Product Linking process.
    • Selects appropriate group and variety classifications for items in the Dynamic Product Linking process.
    • Formats, categorizes, and imports items for the SKU table and various cross-reference tables.
    • Formats, codes, and inputs retail store addresses not found in TDLinx.
    • Enters data as necessary to maintain systems and processes.
    • Edits text into established formats.
    • Develops a high level of consumer product knowledge to support business initiatives.
    • Provides chain and zone codes to Client Service associates upon request.
  • Analyzes data and applies logic rules and processes to ensure data quality.
  • Innovates and creates new processes and data structures as needed.
  • Responsible for tracking all time and database records maintenance in Agile.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Technology
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive consumer product knowledge.
    • Grocery
    • Health and Beauty Care
    • In-store Retail experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to focus on data and perform repetitive routines for long periods of time.
  • Strong keyboard skills, including speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to balance precision and materiality in data classification
  • Advanced knowledge of database (or comparable database) capabilities
