Description:

I. PURPOSE:

Responsible for analyzing and supporting the execution of pricing validation models and algorithms for the retail/grocery store industry.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for all aspects of data management which may include: tracking data and validating.
  2. Performs work within established systems, standards, and procedures.
  3. Continuously ensures accuracy and quality of data.
  4. Analyzes data and applies logic rules and processes to ensure data quality.
  5. Communicates with internal team members, and supervisors to accomplish daily assignments.
  6. Partners with internal clients and stakeholders as needed.
  7. Looks for opportunities to define or improve upon procedures and processes that add value for customers or the department.
  8. Other duties as assigned.


III. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business or related field preferred; or
  2. Previous data entry, processing, analysis, or clerical service experience; or
  3. Equivalent combination of education and experience
  4. Experience or knowledge of the Retail Grocery industry is strongly desired by not required

  1. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  2. Must be able to perform repetitive/systematic/methodical approach to solving problems
  3. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  4. Ability to work independently.
  5. Strong attention to detail.
  6. Self-motivated and able to take direction/feedback from peers and supervisors.
  7. Must be flexible and quick to adapt to changes.
  8. Ability to be technically, analytical, and problem solving focused.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  10. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
  11. Comfortable giving and receiving feedback.

V. EXTENT OF PUBLIC CONTACT:

  1. Daily contact with on site and remote Retail Data members only.

VI. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  1. 40 hour workweek with shared shifts to cover 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. – Sunday - Friday
  2. Flexibility to work overtime.
  3. Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  4. Must be able to use a computer and phone.
