About the Role:

RD Holdings, the parent company of RetailData, is seeking an Industrial Process Engineer to help drive very exciting product and growth program within our newly formed technology services venture. In response to growing demand from our clients to provide solutions to identify and react to near real time actionable insights, we are expanding our services in data and analytics solutions.

We're seeking an Industrial Process Engineer t to help us find and drive optimal business and data processes that are valuable to us and our clients. Your major focus will be on deeply understanding high volume data process pipelines and building solutions that allow us to answer critical business problems that have been historically hard to answer.


What You’ll Do:

Engage with business and technical stakeholders of both internal and external clients to understand process inefficiencies and define problem statements

  • Optimize existing systems and processes addressing the core metrics of cost, quality and/or timeliness.
  • Directly responsible to define and successfully deliver key initiatives and projects including the development of project plans, establishment of ROI, definition of key milestone, and maintenance of key artifacts critical to project success.
  • Conduct in-depth analytics levering common utilities such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and other data analytic tools to generate actionable insight and quantifying potential enhancement to current business practices.
  • Drive continued digitization and process automation of existing data flows through the development of algorithmic business rules to facilitate system actions, decisions or recommendations minimizing user engagement.
  • Serve as key partner with software development, cloud technology team, data processing and business stakeholders to influence continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Systems Engineering or related fields and 2+ years relevant experience within analytics, data, and/or complex problem solving.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry recognized process automation and/or cognitive automation tool sets and capabilities.
  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply appropriate data analytic toolkits such as SQL, Python, etc. depending on the problem statement.
