About the Role

The Retail Strategy Manager / Associate Director will be responsible for developing and executing customer-focused strategies, sales processes and programs that support RD Holdings growth and profitability objectives.  This individual will identify opportunities for growth while driving process efficiency and overall program success for designated clients.  This includes:   

  • Developing and driving product, consultative and solution strategies for revenue growth from existing clients.
  • Active role with new business opportunities, including program development, meeting participation/presentation and content generation.
  • Collaboration with product teams, providing the eyes and ears of the client and industry, ensuring product roadmap aligns with opportunities in the market.
  • Partnering with Marketing on lead-generation and brand awareness programs. 

The Retail Strategy Manager / Associate Director will think strategically and utilize their strong leadership and mentorship skills in driving a highly disciplined, successful client-facing organization. Accountable for quantitative results related to revenue capture as well as qualitative measures related to client satisfaction.

 Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate reporting of all active clients and new business development efforts for the Director of Revenue Strategy.
  • Additional projects pending skills and aspirations.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in sales, brand, channel/trade marketing, customer planning, or merchandising.
  • Prior experience in B2B client facing capacity.
  • Experience in structuring B2B commercial agreements.
  • Exposure to multiple retail classes of trade – E-commerce, Mass, Club, Grocery, Specialty/Department, Dollar, Drug.
  • Detailed-oriented with strong organization & time-management skills.
  • Must be able to present data in an organized manner with advanced skills using Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
