About the Role:
The Solution Specialist delivers a best-in-class client experience utilizing deep knowledge of RetailData’s products and data sets. As a key member of the team, you’ll be the linchpin that ensures our sales and onboarding processes run smoothly and our existing client programs are executed with excellence. You will become a trusted advisor to our clients, from suggesting better methodologies to address analytical objectives to delivering insights from our data in a meaningful, actionable way. This role requires excellent customer service support and a professional attitude.
What You'll Do:
Product & Company Expertise
- Develop a deep understanding of RetailData's data, solutions and services including key differentiators versus legacy approaches and competing offerings.
Conduit Between Clients and RetailData Services & Solutions
- Communicate with clients on operational and analytical elements of projects.
- Triage client inquiries with knowledge of RetailData’s products and solutions. Provide clients with excellent experience and facilitate client retention by building strong customer relationships.
- Manage information databases and client contact plans to develop each client profile and continually assess and anticipate client needs.
- Facilitate resolutions to issues with respective internal teams.
Client Onboarding, Training & Support
- Lead and coordinate product training and onboarding. Monitor platform usage and develop meaningful reporting for trial participants and paying subscribers.
- Guide client users on RetailData’s products to navigate the system, interpret results and design reports to answer business questions.
- Educate clients on data methodology, site navigation and report outputs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support by responding promptly and thoroughly to client inquiries.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or other similar field required.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in positions with increasing responsibility, in a technical sales/business development capacity.
- Ability to think critically and analytically.
- Experience working with large data sets to build a story.
- Strong communication skills, adept at multitasking and task prioritization.
- B2B SaaS experience.
- Highly motivated results driven strategy thinker eager to grow their abilities and contributions to the company.
- Adept multi-tasker, ability to juggle competing strategic priorities dynamically.
- Strong Excel capabilities and aptitude for turning data into insights.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent).
- Experience in Consumer Goods, Retail or Market Research Industry is a plus.
